Dent Repair & Paintless Dent Removal Done Right
Car Geeks Collision is a collision repair facility in Hollywood, Florida. We inspect collision-related dents, creases, and damaged panels, and we perform paintless dent repair (PDR) in-house when the paint and panel condition allow. When they do not, the panel is repaired and refinished conventionally.

We Coordinate Repair Documentation With Insurance Carriers
Two Repair Paths
In-House PDR or Conventional Repair and Refinishing
Which path applies depends on what the inspection shows on the vehicle, not on the size of the dent alone.
In-House Paintless Dent Repair (PDR)
When the paint is intact and the dent's depth, shape, and panel access allow it, the metal is worked back from behind the panel in-house without refinishing. Suitability is confirmed during inspection, not from photos alone.
Conventional Dent Repair & Refinishing
When the metal is stretched, the paint is broken, a panel edge or body line is involved, or a prior repair is present, the panel is repaired conventionally and refinished as part of the collision repair plan.
Dent damage is often part of a larger repair. See our collision repair service, and our frame straightening page where structural damage may be suspected.
PDR Suitability
What Determines Whether PDR Can Be Used
These factors are reviewed on the vehicle during inspection. No single factor decides the method on its own.
- Paint condition, including whether the finish is cracked, chipped, or broken.
- Dent depth and shape, including sharp creases and stretched metal.
- Access to the back side of the panel with PDR tooling.
- Whether a body line or panel edge is involved.
- Panel material and construction, which are confirmed during inspection.
- Previous repairs, filler, or prior refinish work in the area.
- The extent of surrounding collision damage found during inspection.
To have the damage reviewed, you can request an estimate or contact Car Geeks Collision.
