ADAS Calibration & Driver Assistance Done Right
Car Geeks Collision performs ADAS inspection, measurement and calibration in-house at 2133 Pembroke Road in Hollywood. Using Car-O-Liner equipment and manufacturer-specific procedures, our team evaluates cameras, radar and sensors after collision repairs, bumper or sensor work, windshield replacement, wheel alignment, suspension work or structural repairs. The required procedure depends on the vehicle, affected system and repair performed.

What We Work On
Cameras, Radar And Sensor Systems
What we perform depends on your vehicle, the systems it is equipped with and the manufacturer procedure for the repair.
Forward Camera Calibration
Calibration of forward-facing cameras used by lane-keep, traffic-sign recognition and forward collision systems, when the vehicle procedure calls for it.
Radar & Blind-Spot Sensors
Adaptive cruise, blind-spot monitoring and cross-traffic radar sensors calibrated according to the manufacturer procedure for that vehicle.
Lane-Keep & Departure Systems
Camera and steering-angle sensor setup so lane-keep assist and departure warning systems can be verified after repair.
Parking Sensors & Surround View
Ultrasonic parking sensors and surround-view cameras checked and calibrated where the procedure requires it.
Static & Dynamic Calibration
In-shop target-based calibration and on-road dynamic calibration, depending on what the vehicle procedure specifies.
After Windshield Replacement
Many windshield-mounted cameras require recalibration after glass replacement. We confirm the requirement by VIN and system.
After Collision & Structural Repair
Diagnostic scanning and calibration after structural repair, frame work, bumper or panel replacement where sensors were disturbed.
Measurement With Car-O-Liner
Car-O-Liner equipment and comprehensive measurement tools are used to verify mounting positions before calibration.
Diagnostic Pre-Scan
Module scan before repair to document fault codes, system status and which calibrations may be required.
Post-Calibration Check
Post-calibration scan and verification, with available documentation of what was performed.

When It May Be Required
When ADAS Calibration May Be Needed
Many equipped vehicles may require calibration when a camera or sensor is removed, disturbed or replaced, or when the manufacturer repair procedure specifies it.
Collision Repair
After a collision, sensors, brackets and mounting points can shift. Calibration may be required once the repair is complete.
Bumper Or Sensor Work
Removing, replacing or disturbing a bumper-mounted radar or camera often calls for calibration under the manufacturer procedure.
Windshield Replacement
Where a camera is mounted to the glass, many equipped vehicles require recalibration after replacement.
Wheel Alignment
Some manufacturers specify camera or radar calibration after an alignment because thrust angle affects sensor reference.
Suspension Work
Ride-height or geometry changes can affect sensor aim on some vehicles, and the procedure may call for calibration.
Structural Repair
Structural and frame repairs can change sensor mounting geometry, so measurement and calibration are reviewed case by case.
We confirm what applies to your vehicle by VIN, equipped systems and the applicable procedure. Start with a free estimate, or read more about collision repair, frame repair, insurance assistance and our repair process.
Static vs Dynamic
Two Calibration Methods, One Vehicle Procedure
Some vehicles use static calibration, some use dynamic calibration, and some require both. The manufacturer procedure for your vehicle determines which applies.
Static Calibration
Performed in the shop with the vehicle stationary. Targets are positioned at distances and heights specified by the manufacturer, and measurement equipment is used to confirm the setup before calibration runs.
Dynamic Calibration
Performed by driving the vehicle under conditions the manufacturer defines, such as a speed range, road markings and weather. The system completes its learning process during the drive.
